Blog 117 - Navratri Celebration Zaara Style

Shadrad Navratri is an Indian celebration! πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ The Goddess Durga, mother goddess, is worshiped in her 9 forms!
This 9 night celebration ends with a celebration of the victory of good πŸ’― over evilπŸ”‡!

Each day has a different color associated with it. We've chosen Day 7's color RedπŸ’“, Saptami. Which is the color for Oct. 16th, 2018. Yes, we're a few days early! πŸ‘Œ

This day the goddess is worshiped in Kalaratri form, or dark night! She's the form that's fierce and represents the protection from all troubles.

If you'd like to see some gorgeous outfits and dances I'd highly recommend looking up the festival. There are many live cameras showing the beauty of this culture! Youtube Navratri Video

The sim this was taken on is simply gorgeous. Worth taking a look at for sure!
